Quick Reference Guide
Does its jobBy: John Doe on 22 November 2018The sport I'm in requires me to have a Spot 3. So buying one was compulsory. It's not a bad thing per se but it's ridiculously overpriced. I'm not blaming Skippersmate but Spot itself. The electronics in the Spot 3 is not worth more than $10 yet it sells for about $275. On top of that the insane yearly subscription of 230 USD. It's a bloody rip off. Someone is raking in millions by abusing our desire to increase safety. If there were competitors I'd go with them in a heartbeat but there aren't. I'm giving the product 3 stars, that's 5 stars for the product itself that does was it should and 1 star for the insane pricing, averaging 3 stars.
